SAN MARINO BECOMES 36TH MEMBER STATE OF THE EPO

The Repubblic of San Marino has acceded to the European  Patent Organisation. From 1 july it is possible to file for patent protection for San Marino through a European Patent.

The other contracting States of the European Patent Organisation are the 27 member of European Union and Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey.

Decree 22 giugno 2009 n. 76 contains implementation rule of the Europpean Patent Convention (CBE).
